In the film’s remake, to be directed by Dibakar Banerjee, Katrina wants to learn the skill and throw real sharp knives at her male co-star.<br /><br />Katrina is quoted as saying that she loved the stunts done by Hema Malini in Seeta Aur Geeta, including the scene where she climbs up the ceiling fan in a police station. But what fascinates Katrina most is knife-throwing.<br /><br />Determined to shed the tag of a dainty damsel, Katrina is itching to actually learn the skill, apart from doing various other stunts in the film’s remake.<br /><br />We have our fingers crossed for her male co-star, whoever it’s gonna be.

The original film had Hema Malini in a double role. The two male protagonists were played by Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar where Dharmendra gets attracted to the village belle and Sanjeev Kumar to the city bred gal.<br /><br />The remake is to have Akshay Kumar sashaying the role of Dharmedra and Katrina Kaif to be the female protagonist. The other star has not yet been finalized suggest reports.<br /><br />Seems like this year is going to see a lot of Akshay Kumar on the silver screen and that too if he’s paired opposite the hot Katrina again maybe the magic of their earlier films together like Namaste London, Welcome, Singh Is Kingg etc might be back and the remake of Seeta Aur Geeta becomes a bigger hit than the original.
