And when it was her birthday recently, Ashmit especially flew down to Delhi from Mumbai to be with her at her birthday party.<br /><br />But what could have been an awesome day for the couple turned out to be a nightmare for both Ashmit and Veena. A host of journos asked the couple several uncomfortable questions. Veena was even asked about her relationship with Pak cricketer Mohammad Asif, and whether she was also involved in the match-fixing controversy. Naturally the actress didn’t answer the questions and started mingling with other media persons.<br /><a name="more"></a><br />Later, it’s reported that when the couple went to cut the cake, a fight broke out between a bouncer and a journo. Seeing this, the media decided to boycott the event and they also demanded an apology from the bouncer.<br /><br />So though Ashmit made it special, Veena’s birthday party was not without spoilers.
