Salman’s is a brief role that adds star value to the project.<br /><br />However, the final cut of the film, we hear, doesn’t feature Salman. The cameo apparently was chopped at the editing table.<br /><br />Director Anand Rai says he wanted Salman’s cameo to be the surprise element of the film, but when the news about it spread through the media, the surprise element was lost.<br /><br />There have also been rumours that Salman’s cameo was deleted because of his strained equation with the film’s leading lady Kangana Ranaut, but Rai denies it.
