Danone quashes this erroneous claim by the publicist which blatantly rebukes the brand Danone. The publicist never approached the brand and such a statement has caused irreparable reputational har m and damage to Danone's business goodwill. The sequence of events started to occur after irresponsible reportage on 23rd August by a Bollywood portal which reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had been signed up as brand ambassador of Danone without any confirmations with Danone or the actress Aishwarya Rai.
