The film, earlier slated for release in June, may not hit the marquee before October 2011.<br /><br />Blame it on SFX. Since SRK is putting his heart and soul into the sci-fi extravaganza directed by Anubhav Sinha, the superstar is hell-bent on ensuring the best quality special effects for the film that has him playing a superhero.<br /><a name="more"></a><br />SRK is also mindful that <a href="http://bollywood3000.blogspot.com/search/label/Rajinikanth?&max-results=5"><b>Rajinikanth</b></a>’s latest box office quaker <a href="http://bollywood3000.blogspot.com/search/label/Endhiran%20The%20Robot?&max-results=5"><b>Endhiran (Robot)</b></a> has set a new benchmark as far as sci-fi superheroes go. SRK, being who he is, will surely aim for raising the bar and doing so will require greater labour and time on the film’s look.<br /><br />So the SFX work, which was supposed to be over before June next year, will now take longer, according to sources associated with the film. Consequently, Ra.One has been pushed to the festive season and might release during the Diwali weekend of 2011.
